Beverage
Over the past two decades, our country has taken great strides in preventing underage drinking and drunk driving. Surveys show that the vast majority of American adults who choose to drink, do so responsibly and in moderation. These are facts to celebrate, and they are the impetus behind our "We All Make a Difference" campaign that not only recognizes the progress made - but that emphasizes that fighting alcohol abuse is everyone's responsibility.
The Center offers many beverages to complement your function, including the finest Anheuser-Busch products. The Missouri State Liquor Control Board regulates all alcoholic beverage sales. As a licensee, the A-B Center is responsible for the administration of these regulations. Our policy does not allow you to bring any liquor, wine, or beer products into the A-B Center. Our guests' safety and comfort are of utmost importance to us, and therefore the following policies have been implemented:
- A-B Center staff must serve any alcoholic beverages to your guests.
- All guests must provide proper identification (photo ID) on request for alcoholic beverage service.
- A-B Center staff will refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in the staffs' judgment appears intoxicated or to forestall a possible troublesome situation.
- All mixed drinks will be served in a tumbler with appropriate mixer.
- Our staff is not permitted to serve your guests' shots, drink with a splash, or drinks such as Martinis, Manhattans, or Rob Roys.
- Alcoholic Beverage service will end at least one-half hour before the scheduled conclusion of your event and Non-Alcoholic beverages will be available.
- Event Bar service will not exceed four and one-half (4 ½) hours including dinner.
Your support and understanding of our policies are very much appreciated. By working together "We all make a difference."
A service charge of 21% and the current sales tax will be added to all food and beverage charges. In accordance with the State of Missouri tax law, sales tax is applied to the sub-total of Food, Beverage, and 21% Service Charge.
